Blasts from the past!

Here are some of the old projects that were posted on my previous blog. This is just a mishmash of various projects I have done over the past couple of years.

First, we have the classic fingerless mitts. Great for aspiring court reporters in cold classrooms!

I have to include the cute little booties knitted for my adorable niece, Laney. She even had professional pictures taken in them! What an honor! These were based on the Saartje's Booties pattern and turned out just perfect!

Next, we have the teeny, tiny, preemie baby booties knitted for charity. This is just one of several pair I have knitted.
Of course, the only knitting "job" I have ever had, the Christmas stockings for the Wolfe family. I was given a vintage stocking, made by an unknown person from an unknown pattern and asked to recreate it. After much charting and frogging, this is one of the 3 final stockings for the youngest members of the family, all complete with the child's name on the front and birthday on the back.

Well, hope you enjoyed my little trip back in time. Hopefully I can get photos of some of my other projects and post them soon! Have a great day!

Back on the needles!

After a long break of posting my projects (really a long break of needle work period!) I am posting my most recent creation! It is from a book by Christen Haden called "Creepy Cute Crochet". It has adorable little crocheted critters, most of which are perfect for Halloween! So, without further ado, I present to you, "Day of the Dead Guy".

Pretty cute, huh? I thought so! He was super easy to do and took me about an hour and a half or less. My next project will be the ninja, so stay tuned! Let me know what you think!
